After School
BRIDGE
Bridge is a free, after-school, LifeBridge program that provides recreation, Bible-based lessons in character development and a nutritious meal to at-risk children in grades K-10. The Bridge program meets Monday through Thursday during the school year, and each evening is tailored to a specific age group. Many special events are also offered throughout the year.
Bridge provides a Christ-centered environment that is safe, predictable, healthy and nurturing, so that each child can successfully grow and discover their God-given gifts and talents.
Children also enjoy the Economis program at LifeBridge. Through this hands-on curriculum, students gain knowledge about using credit/debit cards, earning, spending, online banking, taxes and payroll. While developing money management skills, children earn imitation money with which they can purchase real rewards. This past year, top rewards were a trip to Washington, D.C. and other trips to Kings Island and the Creation Museum.
In the 2012-13 school year, LifeBridge has enrolled over 115 students in the Bridge after-school program, and over 100 children are on a waiting list.
