After-School Team
Job Title Description Time Commitment
Team Leader Leads the after-school programming team once per week, delegates roles as needed, meets with team and Program Manager regularly. 2.5 hours each week for programming (after-school programs are 4:20-6:40pm M-Th; choose 1 night), September through May, plus additional 1-2 hours per week for planning and 1-2 hours quarterly for team meetings.  Attend at least one training/orientation per year.

Bus Driver Drives mini-bus before and after afterschool programming and/or Saturdays Discovery Zone. Flexible (can be divided in job-sharing arrangement), includes approximately 1 hour before programs (3:30pm-4:30pm) and after programs (6:30pm-7:30pm). Saturdays: before and/or after programs (10am-2pm).
     
Meal Service Helper Prepares meal and helps serve dinner to afterschool programming students and adults. 2 hours per week, 4:30-6:30pm.
Anytime / Flexible Opportunities
     
Clerical Assistant Help maintain data base files, prepare mailings, and offers general office assistance. Flexible.
Organizational Assistant Maintains and organizes physical items at community center, including program cabinets, kitchen, storage and library/lounge. Flexible.
Fundraising Assistant Assists in acquiring funding through fundraising events, grant proposal writing, sponsorships, and donor recruitment. Flexible.
     
Facilities Maintenance Help maintain LBC building and property. Flexible.
     
Health and Dental Assistants Medical professional (doctor, nurse, dentist, dental assistant) who is willing to do open clinic checks for LBC families and medical referrals. Flexible.
     
     
Discovery Zone Leaders Teaches a life-skills or interest-based class for students, for at least 6 weeks. Two hours a week:
Saturdays 10am-Noon or Noon-2pm for at least 6 weeks during active Discovery Zone rotations.
